Bushwacker fender flare close ups
Anyone have any close up shots of their mounted Bushwacker fender flares? With or without the rubber trim. I am debating if I should put the trim on and paint it along with the flare, or leave it black, or just leave it off all together. I just think it will look goofy having a blue flame truck with matching flares and a black rubber piece between the two.

First off I love the blue flame color and can't wait to see it with flares. That said check my galleries for some shots of my bushwackers.
Paint really is not going to adhere well to that strip of rubber, and I highly recommend applying it after paint to help protect your paint on the truck. Without it they would scratch the hell out of the paint as they rubbed on the body (yes they move up and down a bit)
Trust me you will hardly notice the black trim piece once its on.

Im kinda in the same boat, I have a black truck and already put the flares on with the molding, and now decided I want to paint them to match. Even if the paint dosn't adhere to the rubber its black so I don't think it would really matter in my situation, what are you all's thoughts. Thanks. It's like $25 for more molding, or I could try to peel it off and put it back but I know thats going to be near impossible.
