Chrome trim ring with Hella Grille? Is it possible?
I've been searching through threads and have been unable to find an answer to the question that is keeping me from buying a Hella grille. Can you use the stock chrome trim ring instead of the unpainted one that comes with the grille? I've seen the question aked, but I haven't seen a definite answer. Pictures would be nice.
What about painting the grille? From the photos I've seen on it, it looks like it has a rough plastic texture. Can it be painted to look smooth and glossy?
I'm not a big fan of the Ford emblem on the grille, but I could live with it. In my opinion it would look a lot better without it.
