painted doors

hey there i painted the doors on my 98 f150 using the krylon fusion the problem is its been a week and the arm rest on them are still very sticky... what did i do wrong? any help and ideas to fix this would be great

You painted the interior of the doors with it? I would have used interior paint for that. I'm not sure unless the arm rest is a pourious material...

Did you use gloss? I have gloss on my valence and it too feels a bit sticky sometimes. I might be the composition of it. Stated before, it might have been better to use regular interior paint. Got any pics?

You will have to clean the krylon fusion paint off the armrest and use a vinyl paint on them as fusion will never dry. There are several brands that make vinyl paint, check the auto parts store.

I think I used rubbing alcohol when I did mine to get the paint off.

thank you all for the input. will get that off and use the vinyl paint. no pics yet. soon though. thanks again everyone for the help!
