Silverstar

I am looking at replacing the bulbs in my projectors, because i need a little better light output from the low beams. I dont really want to buy HIDs because of the install effort and all, just want something that i can plug in right in the parking lot and be on my way. I have been told to get Silverstar Ultras, because they work the best out of a projector. The thing is, I dont know if they make a bulb that replaces the one in the projectors. Has anyone done this already, or have any input.

Thanks

im not exactly sure because i havent pulled it yet....

the reason i was asking was because they arent like regular headlight bulbs. they are just a bulb with two contact points that you hook a female connector to. but i will prolly pull them anyway.

i was just wondering if anyone else has done this yet.

I have had customers very happy with the VisionX bulbs, a great alternative to silverstar at a great price!

If you can take a picture of the bulb or can see a number on it I can go ahead and get the right bulbs sent out to you.

that is exactly what mine looks like. you have to pull off the rubber cap, and under there is a little metal clip that hold the bulb in. i fiured out how to take it out on my cousins projectors for his jetta. when i get the new bulbs, i will let you know how is goes and if it is worth it.
