Westin or Aries mounting pics
 

I am trying to decide between the Westin Bull Bar and the Aries one on ebay. Does anyone have pictures of the backside of these bars. Like how they mount up to the truck? I notice that none of the pictures show this area. Also, how much protection do these actually provide? Anyone here ever hit another car with one of these?

I have seent he install thread here but it doesn't show the pics I would like to see.

Dont have a picture,but its just a flat 3" bar with 2 bolts on each end.
Both are identical. Only difference I see in them is the skid plate. Wouldnt rely on them as far as an impact but they do look cool:thumbsup:

Cool. So the tubes from the bar itself just go under the bumper and stop or is there like a bracket on the end of the tubes that mounts to the truck?

Let me clarify why I am asking. I don't want to get one of these if they have a weak point where the bar itself meets the bracket. Make sense?

The bull bar bolts to where your tow hooks are currently mounted. You will lose the tow hooks with the bar.
