silver grill?
Has anybody painted the grill silver? I was thinking about but would like to know how it looks first. I have the honeycomb grill. You can see it in my pics.

didn't have to - i have a 99 - but there was a post in May sometime about someone wanting to paint their silver grill black.
Also saw a truck that had a 99 with a 98 grill on it - but i'm not sure if you can swap the other direction.
Food for thought

Was just looking at my pics and you can't see the grill. If anybody has removed the grill please let me know how hard if was. I though if silver didn't look to great. I could paint it teal to match the truck. Which do you think would look better?
King James:
Grille removal isn't that difficult. It takes about an hour to do the whole thing. You have to remove the outer marker lights (nto the headlights though) and then remove the grille surround. There's a bunch of screws on the upper portion but the hardest part is the push-in fasteners located on the bottom of the surround. The grille is actually attached to the inside of the surround by a bunch of snap-fit fasteners. Use a screwdriver to depress the locking part on each fastener and work your way around the grille until it's free.
I have some pix of the process located here:

Do you still have the old grill? If you do and you're interested in selling it let me know. The holes in mine are more of a diamong shape not like yours. That for the directions on removing it.
