Derek I hope you aren't looking into getting one of those. I had one (not as Recon, but a knock-off) before I got my plasmaglow and I can tell you the orange blinker with the OEM red one Ford gives ya looks terrible. If we had an orange blinker like GMC, then maybe. But to me, its just too many colors to comprehend.

Well after looking at the price, I'll settle for just a brake/reverse bar. I was looking on eBay and they seemed pretty reasonable. Found multiple line of fire bars for around $60 w/ free shipping. Alex, is yours Plasmaglow brand? I might look for that one. And do I need a 60" or 49"?

I don't like orange turn signals on the rear when there are none to begin with.

I have a plasmaglow...pictures of it lit up for parking/brake lights in gallery...none of reverse

it helps a little bit, not very noticeable to me though...I also have 3% limo tint all around though

I have a regular RECON Line of Fire. My dad has the RECON White Lightning on his Silverado... It's purely aesthetic. Looking at the area and ground behind our trucks [in reverse], you can't tell a difference. It's not worth extra $30 or whatever the markup is.

Derek, you want the 60" and yes mine is name-brand Plasmaglow. the 49" is for stepsides. And the lights are mainly for night output, but to aid in people behind you knowing you are backing up (like in parking lots). just added insurance
