Scorsch Twisted RCA's
 

I recently switched my own and seven of my friends systems that i have done to these wires. They are amazing, much better sound than what comes from the Street Wires and Metra wiring kits. A set of RCA's is around 15$ then 5$ for a Y adapter, if anybody is searching for RCA's i highly recommend these. I would stray away from any of there other wiring though, i had good luck and got 6 Gauge wire in a 8 gauge pack ( in-accurate gauging ), and most of their power wires only support 50 AMPS.

Did you mean Scosche? I would use Steetwires over Scosche every day of the week . Don't use "kit Rca's" , buy all your wire seperatly. Steetwires makes better cable than Scosche.

i have some scosche rcas but havent used them yet.

scosche RCAs didnt impress me, i actually ended up replacing mine w/ the RCAs from my ebay 4 guage kit and the sound is cleaner now

x2. Ive had experience with a couple scosche products and all weren't of much quality.

For RCAs I use Knukonceptz. I would also use Stinger, but thats it.

scosche is allright....if ur doing a low budget system then by all means go ahead.....for a 4 channel they are garbage tho....i use JL

i have used the scosche rca's because they were cheap and easy to get no waiting for the mail to come, but every single rca cable has screwed up and quit working usuallly just one wire of the pair when it happens it sounds like one of the speakers has a bad connection but swap rca's and it fixed it. so i have new cables now knu and will never buy the scosche cables again.

I don't think anybody on this forum, nor on the street, can hear a sound quality difference between cheap crap RCA's, and top dollar ones.

I do believe the really crappy ones are more prone to failure... and obviously, if they fail, your going to hear it.

I'd feel comfortable using any mid-grade RCA's I found, and sure, one of those could fail to, and then I'd just replace it. But you can buy top dollar ones, and still get a bad one here and there, just like you can buy a BMW in which the motor fails at 20K miles.

The guys that ran my RCA's use Stinger brand, which I think are probably like middle of the line, but as long as one never fails, I'll never even consider replacing them with anything more expensive..... and that's even if I did spend $5000 more on my stereo !

If your RCA's connectors plug onto your stereo items securely, and the connectors are firmliy attached to the wires, that is pretty much as good as it gets.

I only use the twisted pair style. IE twisted pair by RF. Basically they help to cancel out electromagnetic interference. I had a ground loop problem in one of my old trucks, and they took care of it. The old truck had the old points/condenser style ignition system in it.

Same here fozzy. Dual twist all the way.
