Where did you mount your bass knob?

Wondering where I should mount my bass knob. Anyone have any pics?

I am thinking about this as well. I have a 2wd and am thinking about trying to install in the change holder in the dash. It is where the 4WD selector switch is in the 4wd. If I use my dremel and mount the knob inside I think it would be virtually undetectable. The change holder is useless anyways I think it would hold a whopping 4 coins.

Does anybody know how the holder comes out? Just pull and pop out?

Whenever Arc gets around to sending my my remote gain I will probably put it in my door pocket.

I must be getting too old. I wanted one to turn it down when I have my daughter in the car seat in the back. Don't need to blow her away with some Back in Black. :rocker:

i like my bass nob, only for one reason, it makes it way simpilar to turn down the bass only, when needed, like others have said so that they dont make all thier passengers go deaf

o and i have mine laying on the floor

How would you control the bass without one? Is it just max'ed out when you unplug it? sorry im the n00b.

you set the gains properly and then use the H/U to control the bass, the bass knob is usually nothing more than a remote gain knob, krank it up and your bound to fry something

Hey Styxnpicks, another question from a noob. If you set the max level on the amp itself will the remote pot only attenuate from that max level or override it?

I was thinking that if I tune with the amp pot to max without distortion with remote pot at full max it would only bring level down. Wouldn't that be safe?

I don't want some body to be able to play with the remote and end up with fried sub .

Thanks
