Thanx

That one is brand new. Refurbs are a roll of the dice. A lot of people have not had problems with them thought. Just make sure you get some kind of warranty with them.

Sorry.......bad example.

Here's a better one.

Looks like some come with a 90 day warranty, some with a year.

That is a good amp. I guess the chance you take is that the warranty is only as good as long as the seller can be found or their store stays open.
It's better to find a refurb with a factory warranty.
For the price, it may be worth the risk. Just make sure you test it right when you get it in to make sure everything is working.

I would personally not buy audio stuff from Ebay, especially a refurb. I have bought audio equipment from Ebay before, and the only stuff I've ever had problems with I got that way.

There are better ways to save money. Just look around for good deals from authorized dealers, price match, ask questions and find some good hookups. I can usually get close to or beat Ebay prices and get solid products from authorized dealers and a warranty.

Check out the www.refurbdepot.com . They sell factory refurbs at pretty good prices and most, if not all, have some manufacturers warranty. I haven't personally purchased from them, but have some friends that have with good success.

I just want to say this. If you buy from EBAY it will be from an unauthorized sales outlet and regardless of what the person selling tells you YOU WILL NOT GET A WARANTY. Those that are offering a waranty it is through them and not the manufacturer and they usually put very restrictive stipulations on those waranties such as no returns if opened, no returns if connected, etc etc. So you see what good is a waranty that only warants a product to work if it is never connected?

If it were my money I would buy unless I was guaranteed that if the product was defective for any reason it would be repaired or replaced. I want that no hassle waranty, especially with something as expensive as an amp, HU, subwoofer or something along those lines. You should check out www.sounddomain.com they still have great deals and are factory authorized dealers for all the products they carry. They also have help readily available if you ever need to get waranty work or anything like that done.

Just my $.02 on internet sales.

I totally agree. Find a deal at an unauthorized site, price match through sounddomain for an authorized product for much less.
