2001 S'Crew amplifier cabling?

Good morning...

Just got a Hifonics 5-channel amp yesterday. What is the best way to run the battery leads in this vehicle through the firewall?

I'm assuming once inside the truck, all connections should run underneath the plastic door mouldings right?

Thanks,
Jon

There is a groument under the passenger side door. That is where I brought my power cable into the truck. I think there is another groument somewhere around the gas pedal. The easiest way is thru the passenger side door groument.:)

Whoa... didn't get notified of any responses. Sorry for the delay in thanking you...

With that, thanks a lot for the information. I'll start the install tomorrow and hopefully things will go smoothly.

I looked for this today around the front passenger side door. Didn't see anything. I then checked the rear passenger door. I saw several gromets located near the door threshold. Are these the ones being referred too? There were two in the vicinity. A larger one about 1 inch in diameter and a smaller one about 1/2 inch in diameter. Secondly. Do you suggest I run the power feed along the inner frame member then jut out to the gromet area or is it OK to just run it along the outer edge?

Thanks a bunch, I'm learning a lot here.

Tony
