Perfect shade IMO, I wouldn't want anything darker than that. What was the whole process you used. Did you sand them, tint them then clear them? They do have a nice shiny, professional looking finish.

First, I washed them, then, wet sanded them with 800 grit. Then, I applyed 1st coat. Let dry for about 20 minutes. Then apply 2nd coat. Then wet sanded with 1500 grit. Applyed 1st coat of clear. waited 30 minutes and wet sanded again with 2000 grit. waited for about 2 hours, then applyed 2nd coat of clear.
Let dry and they came out looking what you see.

How do you keep the back up lights from getting tinted?

Ya know, I was getting ready to open the thread and saying to myself "Well, here's another picture of an idiot w/to dark of tail lights." However, upon opening I am shocked. They turned out great! Possible to post pics of the products (paint and clear) that you used.

Oh, one last thing: You are breaking a cardinal sin by having that Jeff (gay) Gordon thing around your license plate. You drive a Ford, root for a Ford driver. Haaaa J/K man.
