All you fuel line clip breaking..... out there

I heard through the grapevine that Ford's gonna release the blue clips for service sometime next week. I'll get y'all a part number when they become available.

I saw that on fmcdealer this morning too. They'll have a 3/8" and 5/16" sized kit that is supposed to be available @ the last week of this month.

They outta clone guys like you, Q, and drop off a copy at each dealership - in a managment position.

Problem solved.

Do you have any plans on moving to the Central Arkansas area? I don't think that the techs at a local dealership could bend over and grab their butt cheeks with both hands 9 times out of 10. The only thing that they can do right on a consistent basis is get grease all over the interior of my truck.

Now the question is how I know if I have the 5/16 or 3/8 one.

The only problem with that is that I really hate my job. But I'll still be here in midwest Georgia if any of y'all are ever in town. Stop by and I'll buy you a beer.

Just curious, why do you hate your job? I have an office job, and I always think to myself how much I'd enjoy being an auto technician. I'm not talking a grease monkey lube guy, but more of a diagnostic and heavy-line tech. I love tinkering with vehicles mechanics. In fact, my hands look like mechanic's hands, which is pretty funny working in a corporate office environment.

Long story made short - Not enough money, too much stress, too many politics, too many times being taken advantage of. I like working on cars, but just like anything else, having to do it day in and day out ruins it.

A friend/customer of mine who I haven't seen on F150online lately, RUSSELL336, works with computers day in and day out. Naturally, he doesn't play around on here very often after getting home from work. Most of the posts I make on how to fix stuff around here is usually while I'm at work and the stuff is still fresh on my head. When I get home in the evenings, I don't really even want to think about a truck, let alone on how to fix one. That's the real reason why I'm so slow on replying to threads, PMs and E-mails. I'm just burned out, that's all.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

Hint: Don't buy your motorcraft fuel filters from the dealer.
