Returned the Edge

Well I just got back last night from a road trip to Atlanta to see the supercross race that was there. Well on the way down I talked me my buddy into making a stop about 45minutes out of the way at Troyers Performance. When I got there as soon as I walked in the door Crystal knew who I was and introduced herself. Next came Marc and then he introduced me to Mike himself. While sitting there in the shop I got to talk to 05RedFX4 about his truck and how it ran. He explained that he had a Edge Evo and then got the xcal2 and what a differance there was between the two. When Mike was done doing what he was doing I got to talk to him for alittle bit, and I must say and I know it has been said before but the man does know his stuff. Before I left I also met Rockpick and watched as the put his truck on the dyno, I did not get to see it run because I had to get down the road. Well to make a long story short the whole way to Atlanta I thought about all the information I took in at Troyers and all the guys I met. First thing Monday morning I call and retuned the Edge and called Crystall up got my order in for the xcal2. Now all I have to do is wait.

It's a shame you couldn't get it while you were there and had it dynoed the same time.

I might would have kept the Edge for the display.

You won't be sorry, TP is great at what they do.

Brad it was cool to meet you and sorry to hear about the truck. Vader716 I would have loved to of bought it while I was there, but it took the whole trip of thinking about it and my buddy saying I that if I wanted to have a chance with his hemi I should go with the xcal2. I could not keep the Edge for gauges because it's not in the budget right now.

Hi Andy!

It was great getting a chance to meet you, & sorry I didn't have more time to spend with you personally - that's just how it goes during certain parts of our Dyno Day events!

Thanks very much for coming by, and we especially appreciate you having faith in our tuning capabilities - you will notice the difference once your tuner arrives, and how much better the truck runs in comparison.

It was funny - the very first guy we had on the dyno Friday morning was a nice fellow with a new F-150, and he had been using the Edge - we tuned him, took the vehicle off the dyno, he took it out to drive it and came back 10 minutes later just raving about the difference. That's a pretty frequent occurrence around here, and it's not just the peak hp, or on heavily modified vehicles as a few like to claim - it's the power available at any throttle position even on a bone-stock vehicle, the overall driveability in any situation, as well as shifting, power, etc.

But then, it's really just not fair to compare any of the shelf canned type of tuning to what we do here with our custom tunes - Edge is fine for what it does, but when you want the best, our custom tuning is what does the job.

Thanks again for coming in & making the change you did as well - we greatly appreciate it!
