Extended Warranty Question

Is there a go to person/dealership to purchase an extended warranty? In the Corvette world, there are two people at two separate dealerships, people go to for the best deal.

But do a cost calculation. If you were to pocket the money in a safe place (meaning you are good at managing your money; IMHO now a days aren't) and use that for repairs, you might come out ahead.
