2020 STX Turn Signal Bulb Replacement

Hello,

Does anyone know if the original cheap turn signal bulbs can be replaced with LEDs (2020 F150 STX)? Everyone local that I've asked so far, including 3 Ford dealers, are not very sure. Pep Boys claims the whole light assembly has to be replaced, lmao...
