2019 2.7L eco High beam quirk
I've noticed a quirk with my new 2019. I keep the lights on auto. My 04 had that feature and that's what I'm used to. So several times when driving at night, either the high beams will go on and turn off or they will come on and stay on until I turn them off. I'm going to try turning the lights to on instead of auto and see what happens but wanted to throw that out there to see if anyone else experienced this. I apologize if this has already been discussed or in a different thread.

It sounds like your auto high beams. Try turning them off in the settings menu.

I noticed a similar quirk in my '19 XLT. I also keep mine in auto. When driving for a while at night, especially city driving where the light function changes often I'll notice the auto headlight identification on the dashboard center info screen will go away. At that same time the high beams wont come on automatically anymore. All I do whenever I see that is turn it the lights to "on" then back to "auto". Almost like it resets whatever controller does the high beams auto.atically.

I hate vehicles that have auto high beams.
All the time when someones behind me, their lights will go high beam, low beam, etc, etc... very annoying. |

I don't believe that it has anything to do with your lights being on or auto position. You have to go into your settings on your dash and turn the auto high "brights" off. This will solve your "quirk"
