Noise Underneath When Opening Driver Door

I just purchased a 2018 F-150 FX4 Supercrew with the 5.0 engine. I've had it for a week now. After the truck sits overnight, or several hours, when unlock, and open the driver door I hear a noise from under the truck. It sounds like an electric fuel pump priming, then 6 or 7 rapid succession sounds that for lack of a better description sound like a weapon in a video game. It only happens when the driver door is opened. I live in the country so I have no road noise, and it happens every time. I actually recorded it on my phone, and dealer service rep says he's never heard it, or heard of it. I surely can't have the only truck doing this. I was under the truck last night trying to locate the source, and get a better recording, while my wife opened the door. She said that she didn't hear anything, but when I played the video, she could clearly hear it. Anyone else experiencing this? TIA.

Regards,
Michael

I think it's a module powering up? I don't really notice it anymore...I had it on my '12 F250 as well.
Too noisy outside now, but if I remember correctly, you can hear it good from the wheel well area.

Thanks MK. If this is a normal occurrence, I should probably find another dealer for service. I'll continue to work on isolating where it's coming from.

Noticed it on mine, too. I park in the garage, so you DEFINITELY hear it.

Yep, since day one on mine.

I thought it was the park brake. It sounds like it tightens up again when I open my door.

My 2018 started doing the same at 5k miles. The parking brake isn't set.

I am also experiencing the same thing...purchased truck on 28 December, didn't start making the noise until a couple of days later.
