38x15.50R20 Build thread
 

Hey there everyone just starting a thread to keep everyone updated on the progress of my truck and how the build is coming along. I am starting with a levelled 2015 f150 platinum currently sitting on 37x13.50R20.
I recently ordered a 6 inch fabtech lift with the coilovers and remote reservoir. I'm gonna be stacking the level kit on top of the lift to achieve 8 inches of lift.
The tire choice I went with is 38x15.50R20 and fuel octane wheels in a 20x12 size. I've got a programmer ordered from SCT to help with the tires, a cold air intake and a new exhaust coming all at the same time.
I'll be posting updates as they come and pictures as it progresses. There is also a paramount auntomotive grill gonna be installed at the same time and come vinyl wrapping on the bumper and mirrors to take some of the chrome away. Looking forward to seeing this project come together. How are you managing to stuff 37s with only a level kit?

With a lot of trimming and removing the crash bars. I only rub in reverse at full lock now and couldn't be happier with the look

Cool. Got any side pics of that beast?

How much offset on the rims?

Motor? Gears? Curious how hard your gas mileage gets hit with those tires and lift.

The offset on the rim is -44 so that's all I'm worried about with the rubbing because it's gonna be stuck out almost another 4 inches from what it is now. I've got the 3.5 Ecoboost and I'm really surprised with how it's holding up to the 37's with no modifications done to it. Currently averaging 18L/100Km and with the programmer, intake and exhaust I'm sure it will only get better

Yup, +44 stock to -44. 88 mm's = 3.5"

My state, flaps would be a must or you get pulled over and ticketed.

Not sure how much extra HP you'll get out of the CAI and exhaust but the programmer will make a huge difference.

Be sure and gets some pics up when you get er done. Going to look good.

Why not stick with the 37s on that lift? I dont think the jump between 37" and 38" is that noticeable. I'd save the cash and run the 37s.
