In this case, the award isn't for dominating the competition, but for being excellent by nature. The Yakee Cup is a technology award. MIT gives it to a system, feature, or vehicle that massively improves the driving experience. Things like an aluminum chassis, LED bed lights, the remote tailgate system, the 360 degree camera... Ford really knocked it out of the park."
