New retro paint scheme for F-150

Sure, this isn't the first one of these we've seen. But wow, I think it's awesome. How about you? Should Ford offer this as a factory option? More pics and info here.

Never was a fan of this particular paint scheme. Don't much care for it now on the newer body styles. I would like to see the Victorian paint scheme on a new body style. The 1986 F150 extended cab I had was the absolute first Victorian paint job in beige and green. Ford wanted me to pay for the paint before they would paint it. As it turned out, the dealer ordered 6 more just like it after it came in. They parked it out front and had crowd around it when I got there. They sold a lot of them painted like that. The scheme looks far more custom than the scheme shown here. For the new body styles, I have no interest in the current colors. None look great to me except white and white, while a favorite, will never invoke any excitement on a truck.

Well, firstoff, that was never really a paint scheme they ever had. Lines are wrong. Similar, but definitely not the same. I don't think it works for this body style, that/'s why they quit doing these years ago. Think 1996 was the last year.
