Awesome, I think you'll like it.
The only thing with Ecoboosts, just change the oil every 5k, and the plugs at around 30k, and you'll be a happy camper. Along with the usual maintenance items.
Yeah, they are coming a long way on vehicles in general.
Had my truck in for it's yearly inspection a few weeks ago, and I was eyeballing a 2018 F-350 XL work truck with the 6.7l, and even thought it was "base" model, it had power windows, locks, etc. Way more than my '07 F-150 has. Interesting to see how the basics evolve. Including the cost...
Kind of looking forward to getting a new truck, but I like no payments, and my truck still is under warranty, and has super low mileage. So, eh... it's more of a want than a need right now.

This thing is a sweet upgrade from the '08. I have no regrets...yet. We shall see as the miles roll on.

Ecoboosts seem to develop misses with plugs when they hit around 40k. They are very gap-sensitive.
I believe the OEM plugs are iridium, not platinum. Gap is .030.

[QUOTE=carioux2008;5248693]My bank just bought this beauty from a local dealer in my name. Coming from a 2008 XL 5.4, this thing is like a spaceship. Glad to be keeping it in the Ford family though. Anything I should keep an eye out for in terms of reliability?

Just beware of dealer service - do a little research before raising an issue with your new baby, some dealers compete for emmy awards when repairs are needed.
