2018 XLT 900mile Check Engine Light

Just bought a new F150 last week due to my last ford hitting 170k miles. Had the first check engine light come on. Luckily I had my scanner that I bought for my last car in my middle console. Ran it and the P2450 popped up. Figured I’d go drop it at the ford house and get it fixed right away. Called four ford houses around me, the closest said to call roadside assistance. The next was closed. The next said they could look at it next week and they had an enterprise I could rent a car from. The last one said I could drop it off and they would look at it Monday but they didn’t have loaners available. I wanted to get another opinion on if I could keep driving or not. I also thought a loaner would be a normal thing to offer especially when a truck with less than 1k miles comes in.

Not really feeling to confident with this truck.

So so can I keep driving or should I park it and have it towed?

No big deal. It's safe to drive. Just get an appointment. It's a fault in the evaporative emissions control system and will not affect safety or the way it runs.

Sounds like a defective part... Ford will fix it for you.

I had that code when my truck was new. They tried a couple things but the bottom line fix was them dropping the tank and replacing the valve on top of the tank.
