Boosted F-150 needs surgery...

And to think, back in the 60's, we could pull a 283 or 327 is about 25 minutes. If you were in a hurry, I've pulled one in just under 7 minutes from the car to the bed of the truck. But then, we didn't have many power accessories or emissions crap to play with it. It was just engine, radiator, gas, shift linkage, battery connections, and it was out.

The failure was because he boosted a coyote without upgrading the oil pump and he kept hammering it until it broke. It's common knowledge that any belt driven supercharger on any modular engine induces more stress on the nose of the crank and alters the harmonics which can cause the oil pump gears to fracture and fail. 700 crank hp seems to be the failure point, if you go above that without upgrading the pump, your on borrowed time. The problem was not a big deal until the coyotes came along because they can easily surpass the 700 mark.
