Grinding noise when cold

Hello all, new to this forum with a 2018 F150 XLT 4x4. It is getting cold her in Taos, NM and have noticed a grinding noise when the engine is cold - noise increases as engine speed increases. Net search found some threads indicating a pulley a possible culprit. Noise goes away once the engine warms up. Any others experiencing this issue?

3.3-got a great deal on it because it's not the popular engine. With a 3.73 in the rear seems to have plenty of pulling power.

Check this thread. https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...ing-noise.html
I'm getting the same noise with my EcoBost. I found shifting to 4 High stops it.

If the grinding changes with road speed, it could be an IWE. If it's strictly dependent on engine speed, it's something engine related.

For me it is definitely engine related and not wheel or transmission related. Appreciate all the links to the iwe issue.
