Just purchased a 2018 F-150 King Ranch. Before my truck was ready, the dealership gave me a 2018 Expedition. When I locked the doors on 2018 Expedition the Mirrors closed automatic. I was wondering why my 2018 F-150 King Ranch doesn't do the same thing.

 

I've never heard of this before on domestic vehicles.

I've seen them on Audi's and other cars.

Frankly I don't particularly care for them.

 

My 2017 Platinum has extending mirrors and they have the ability to fold back into the window.

They do it if I press a button on the door below the electric mirror adjustment pad.
I'm glad it is available on demand because the truck won't fit in the garage opening without folding them back.

I was hoping this would come up i think its crazy that they do not close when you shut the truck off
