Let's see them 5.0 tow rigs

Would love to see some 5.0 towing rigs, post up your truck and trailer specs.

Also curious who's towing with them in high elevation through mountains.

After owning two ecoboost trucks now I'm ready to get back into a V8 again.

(I know the ecoboost will tow more effortlessly, that's not the question, so again I'm just asking to see 5.0 towing rigs)

Thanks!

Give me a few weeks. I just ordered my new one on Saturday. I may have a new horse trailer by the time it comes in, too. I can show you my one-owner 2001 5.4 with 265,000 miles pulling a 30 yo trailer.

The truck is a 2017, 5.0, XL with everything you can get on an XL except carpet. The lack of carpet is a plus for me since I fish and my feet are always wet after loading the boat. The truck is lowered 3" in the front and 4" in the rear with 5100 series Bilstein shocks and uses a ProSeries #49901 WD hitch to pull my hotel room on wheels, a Starcraft AR-One 15RB. My back hates to fly so driving with routine stretch stops is my only option and I refuse to stay in hotels when I run from East Tennessee to Minnesota to see my 93 YO Mom. One photo shows my driveway angle and the other is flattened out. 9000 miles since December and I will be leaving for MN on 7/5 to add another 3000 to 3500.
to 3500 miles.

Just pulled in the driveway about 3 hours ago. The trailer tanks are drained and flushed and it is put away until the next trip to MN. 2750 miles out of 2900 with the trailer attached. No issues other than the people out there that just do not understand how to act around someone pulling a trailer. I observed about 20 people pulling trailers who were forced out a lane to the left by traffic and the people pulling the trailer were swooped while trying to get back over to the right by an impatient driver behind them. It happened to me 4 times. The world is full of idiots but what can you expect. I am damn glad I hung up the helmet and leathers about 20 years ago. 11.5 MPG for the trip which is not to bad considering 2 of the 5 travel days were spent fighting 20+ MPH headwinds.

Siri keeps,
2682 dry. 15 gallon tanks x 3 and a single propane tank. Usually about 100#s of food and drinks. I will let you do the math since I usually travel with a full fresh tank and partial gray and black tanks by the end of the day.
