How to setup Sync 3 with Waze on 2018 F150?

 

Have you updated to Sync 3, latest version?

Android Auto App turned on and connected?

 

I just realized that I have version 2.3 for Sync 3....got to update to 3.0. I tried for over an hour to update thru its modem but no luck. got to clean up a flash drive and try that way. Thanks for the message.

 

I got my 17 updated to 3.0 after having to drive around for a while then let it sit running inorder to update. Took about 30 minutes.

But now Waze works when connected via iPhone cord. It's a little buggy at times. Sometimes it just wont connect at all.

I read online there is a sync 3 version 3.10 (i believe) but I can't seem to find any information on where to download and Sync won't update that by itself.

I haven't been able to set up to use waze with my Samsung phone.
