Why are they not creating a 2018 forum?

Makes zero sense to include 2018's in here... completely retarded logic

If you think this place has retarded logic, there's nothing keeping you here. Go troll someplace else.

They have different headlights, they haven't grown on me yet but I bet they will eventually.

And weird options packages, glad I got a good deal on my loaded out 15.

2018 is pretty different from the 2015-2017 that's why... for one almost complete new drive train. Different front clip and tail lights.

Basically the difference between 2015-17 and 2018 is the same difference between 2004-2008 and 2009-2014, and they made a different forum for them...

Makes no sense and your trying to justify it shows me how little you know about trucks. You are probably one of those Platinum FX4 ecobooost owners who never takes their truck off pavement

There's a difference between being stupid and bragging about it.

You are doing the later...

2004-2008 (11th Gen)
2009-2014 (12th Gen)

12th gen got face lift, all new suspension, new transmission 2009, followed by new engines in 2011, electric fans across the board, EPAS, new interior design and infotainment updates with the introduction of Sync

13th Gen obviously a complete redesign, body, chassis, interior etc
2018 gets a face lift, tailgate, tail lights, and some trucks get 10spd auto.

Guess we should go back and break up the 10th Gen trucks when they added PI to the 4.6 as a new generation too.

Just to be clear, I am completely open to suggestions if people come up with rational explanation and would like to have a civil discussion I'm all ears. This is not a dictatorship.

I don't understand the reluctance...

If you have a 2004-2008 and 2009-2014, you should have a 2015-2017 and 2018+ forum

If you look at the trucks 87-91 and 91-96 they werent much different, for that matter 1980-1996 werent that different, granted we didn't have internet back then

I would never suggest breaking up 1997-2003 because the differences were so minute.

But seriuosly, differences between 2004-08 and 09-14 are about the same as 15-17 and 18+

So again, why the reluctance?

All new front clip, rear clip (tail lights and tailgate), new base v6, 5.0 gets direct injection, 10 speed trannys, tweaked interior with sync3 standard (I think)...

Guess we should go back and break up the 10th Gen trucks when they added PI to the 4.6 as a new generation too.
No, that's a stupid suggestion... you have to be a rivet counter to tell the differences between the changes they made 97-03

Yeah, you act like it too... like a newb

We have pretty thick skins, Red. Crazy's just being childish and he's allowed to cry.

Seems like that's all he does here anyway.
