Truck loses power goes to limp mode
I have a 2016 F150 with a 6 cylinder engine and 14,000 miles on it.. I have had the truck stall and the following warning lights come on: "Service Advance Trak" , "Hill Start Assist Not Available" and the big orange wrench. Each time I would coast to the shoulder (if there is one), let it sit for a few minutes and be back on my way. The other day this occurred 15 times in one day. I finally made it to a Ford Dealer who told me they were 2 1/2 weeks out on appointments if I wanted to make one. I told him the truck is no longer driveable as is and he wrote up a service ticket. It has been sitting there 3 days so far and no one has looked at it. I am not able to use the truck in my business and it is costing me money each day it sits! I will post an update if they ever look at it.

Hope the dealer can help you fast.
I agree that its time to find a different dealer if they can't squeeze you in (or give you a truck loaner) on a 2016 with an emergency issue like yours.

I had the same issue with my 2016 ecoboost, exactly....my issue, and I imagine yours, is the throttle position sensor (TPS). Dealer replaced the gas pedal assembly and haven't had an issue since. The issue is the truck looses position of the pedal and as a safety override goes into limp mode.
Also, sounds like your dealer is terrible.

Suggest buying one of the OBD devices and read the trouble codes and determine for yourself what the problem is with the truck. It may be a failing part that you can buy from the parts department or online and install yourself or have it done by an independent garage. If you use GM parts there is no issue with the warranty other than having to pay for the labor involved in the repair. Even if the dealer does the repair I would like to see that the item they replaced is actually what is indicated by the DIC from the truck's ECM.
