Tire swap at delivery

I am having my stock 275/55/20 Hankook ATM's swapped out for BFG AT KO 2 when truck arrives at dealer in early July. I asked about the extra cost and he told me they will give me a price on the Hankook tires then take it off the new tires. Has anyone done a swap at the dealer and what should be a fair price they give me for the tires? I am in Canada.

Discount tire only offered me $100 for mine with 400 miles on them.

I gave them to a worker of mine that had bald tires.

If it is anything less than the cost of storing them I would just keep them.

They offered you $100 but will sell them for $400 plus installation.

I did a tire trade before driving it and they gave my $175 per tire so I had to pay the difference. I thought it was a really good deal. I got the BFG K02's as well. I love the look and the ride. I am here in Texas.

I don't know how they could possibly do that since the tires are considered used at that time.

My truck will have less than 10 km when it arrives at dealership. I should just keep the factory tires and sell them privately.

Or run your new tires down and put the stock ones back on and sell the truck?

In PA, most dealers won't give you much on the takeoffs. Going rate is anywhere between $200 to $400 for all 4, so it might be best to sell them privately (on the forum or craigslist) or hang on to them.

Dealer gave me $500 for the mini-van tires Ford put on my XLT. I went with KO2s.

I bought 275/60/20 KO2's online for $800 delivered. Paid $100 at local shop to mount and balance. Sold my stock take offs with about 4000 miles on them on craigslist for $440. So the cost to upgrade came out to $460. I thought I did pretty good.

I would just have them throw them in the bed and sell them on Craigs.

In my area the Hankook Dynapro ATM's are actually more expensive than the similar size BFG AT KO2

$400 bucks is the going rate in Arkansas for take-offs. I've done it a couple of times.

I wanted TKO 2's swapped for the Goodyears at delivery. Dealership said it would cost me and EXTRA $600 because the factory tires would be considered "used"....NOPE!!!!
