Just curious, I found out they are **** about logging mileage you changed the oil if you do it yourself.
I did mine around 5500, 10700, 15800 and today at 20258. But was curious to see if it's possible to go back and find the exact mileage.
I drive a lot so it's mileage, not "time", I drive about 5000 miles every 3 months

There is a formula it uses apparently, its in truck info section of the productivity screen; it tells you percent life along with running hours info broken down.
At around 5-10% I checked the oil and it was coal black and about a quart low. I put a quart in it and ran it down to 2%, just by luck I took it down that low I've been way to busy to take it into the shop and it needed some other stuff done at the dealer so no time to leave it.
They should have an option where you can change this to like an "extreme duty" interval so the light comes on sooner. It really felt like it needed an oil change.

The Works for $39.99. Includes 5 qts, rotation, you do pay for additional oil needed for the engine. They do the work, they dispose of the old oil and they record the oil change in the vehicle record.

And since I can't handle rotating my tires anymore (partially disabled) it's a no brainier for me.

I would never go 10k miles on a synthetic blend, doesn't matter what engine it has. 5k is a nice ballpark to change the oil. When I change mine I set it to 50 percent, that way when it gets to 0 then I'm at my 5k. Even running a full synthetic I still do 5k, with a N/A engine I'd possibly consider pushing it to 7500 with full sythetic.

My last truck had about 160000 on it when I traded and I used Motorcraft blend and changed every 5-6000 miles. But it only held about 6 quarts.

I use 5k when I'm towing/on dusty roads or in the mountains. I go 7500 driving highway miles. Has always worked for me. Put over 165k on a '07 5.4L with the original phasers and timing chain. That engine is still quiet and uses less that 1/2 quart of oil in 5K. I use Ford's Works or Mobil 1 if not at the dealer.
If you want to see how the engine is doing, send an oil sample out for analysis.

My total cost for the oil change is
2x Valvoline 5w/20 oil $14.99 / 5 quarts ($2.99/quart) at Walmart total cost $22.48
1x motorcraft oil filter $5.39
Total cost $29.82 (including tax) and less than 1 hour of my time... so i'm getting 2 oil changes for what you are paying for 1. And I know what i'm getting.
I don't need a multi-point inspection or battery check. I know when my battery is dead, and don't need some mechanic selling me services I don't need

I have no idea, I change my oil religiously at 5,000 miles, and when I look at the engine oil life left thing, it says I have 63% or something left, no idea...
