New f150 OBD code P2450

That sucks but then again that was a given. If you clear the code and don't replace any parts then it's only a temporary fix. Don't waste any time and just take it in to the dealership.
I got my truck back yesterday after they kept it for 3 days, usually they would only take 2 days. This time they dropped the fuel tank, replaced a valve, and replaced a fuel tube/line. Hopefully what they did solve my issue!

yeah I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke; the error doesn't stay latched so its not reporting all the time as an error... either way contacting them for service today.... not even ready for its first oil change yet!
Hopefully they got you figured out now. Its a shame that it seems like a normal fault.
going to search for TSBs... but I guess if they are swapping all sorts of stuff out on your truck then there isn't one out yet.

My 2015 SLT 2.7 turbo gave same error code. Ford service said part is not yet in stock anywhere. My remote start also does not work due to this error. Ford said part is a fuel tank pressure sensor and tube and gave me the part number FL3
z90683-f. Part number but no part. Help can any one know of a work around or where I can get the part.

"Ford service said part is not yet in stock anywhere"
BS! Ford is still selling trucks, aren't they? And those trucks all come with this part so obviously, parts are available. They just don't want to supply them to the repair supply inventory.
IMO If your truck is still under warranty your Stealership and Ford needs to MAKE it their business to get the part and to fix your truck! Even if they have to pull the part off of a new truck. Otherwise they should give you a loaner until they fix yours. If I were you, I'd start prepping to return the truck under the Lemon Law. There's NO excuse for them not being able to supply the part and to fix your truck. You might also want to post this up on Facebook and some of the other social media sites, that always seems to get results.

what a joke... i got this code also on my 2015 f-150 2.7L. what a joke, thing hasn't even hit 10,000 miles. junk..... i cleared the code, and i'm not taking off work or wasting my time to go to the dealer. i'm driving it till the wheels fall off or the lease is up, whichever happens first. Ford needs to get rid of the Chinese and low cost parts suppliers, and make quality products. junk.

second time for the OBD code 2450 since new
I joined this forum to share my frustration with my F150 having had the OBD code 2450 show up again at less than 2 years old. First time was within 4 days of owning the truck, September 2015. They did not have parts but ordered them and gave me a rental when they got them in. It had been fine until this past week at 18,250 miles got the same code. Took it to the dealer, told them it was a 2450 code and they dropped the tank and did the same repair again.
Is anyone else having repeat issues with this device? If so anything to expect it is solved now?
Thanks in advance
Larry

P2450 Code, Reference TSB 15-0171
I own a 2015 F-150 Truck with 53,356 miles with a purchased extended warranty. Unfortunately, I go to the dealer because of the dreaded engine light and low and behold they tell me it is related to the Fuel Vapor Tube Replacement. I take it to another certified Ford Dealer and they want to charge me 700 dollars for a repair. Here is my questions what is the point of an extended warranty if they parts that clearly need replacing are never covered. Further, with all these similar issues going on with this code why has not Ford offered to fix the issue or is it because they do not know exactly what the fix is (statement from an actual technician of a ford service center).
With whom can I communicate to address this concern, as I was told I would have to speak with someone from Ford directly to. All I asked to the service representative, why is the truck having so many similar issues, it seems that there would be a recall of some sort. Is there a definitive fix or will I be making several visits to the dealership.

Evap control valve stuck open
I also have the same code for Evap Control Valve Stuck Open and my Auto start-stop not working correctly on my 2015 2.7 eco boost with 43,000 miles. Just bought it 2 weeks ago. Don't have time to leave the truck over night since the ford dealership has 130 vehicles in front of me. Seriously?! Ford needs to do a recall on this issue. Very disappointed for paying 30k for a vehicle. My 2015 corolla didn't have the check engine light come on ONCE and I traded it in with 80,000 miles. I remember bringing a previous ford truck to the ford dealership and would be in and out the door for a diagnosis after a few hours at most from 2011-14. I'm very frustrated with Fords service department wait time. I'm just going to run it like I've been doing the past week and try to fix it myself when time is available.
