Small diesel pickups are only economically viable overseas - in countries where diesel is cheaper than gas, don't have strict emissions regulations, and where large gas engines are heavily taxed.

The diesel Toyota Hilux is probably the best selling truck in the world, especially the 3rd world.

Depends, if you're rollin' coal on a Prius covered in coexist, obummer and Hillary 2016 stickers then yes it's perfectly acceptable. Otherwise not so much.

I hope that the Raptor keeps the 6.2, and I bet that in 2 years this F-150 will get the new small diesel engine from the transit vans

Doesn't look like there is even going to be a Raptor in 2015.

Does anyone know if they will offer a 3.73 gear in the 2015 F150? I hope so.

- .7 wider w/o mirrors. Narrower with std mirrors.
- F/R Tack .6 wider. Hmm could have swore I read 2 ".
- Inside box height is 1" lower. Don't list volume but I'd assume less apples to apples?
- Head room: Hair less F / Hair more rear
- Legroom: 2.5+ F / .1 less Rear for rear.
- Hip-room: 2" more F / .1 Less rear again for rear.
- Shoulder: .8" More F / .4 More rear.
- I see front suspension maintains stamped-steel lower C/A. Not aluminum like 04-08. C'mon I thought we had an aluminum theme here?
- Brakes same size. Doesn't list thickness. Samers I guess.

I noticed some of that, too. The complainers for low reach over made us lose 1" in box height. This won't be good for guys with tonneau covers or tall load stability. But we gained .6" between the wheel wells and gained .1" on the 6.5" bed length and gained .2" on the 8' bed. And the tie down points are higher so I may be able to ditch the stake pocket mounted side rails. The lights and tie downs will probably make it difficult for a drop in liner so I will gain a little more room there. It will probably be a wash on volume for me.

Edit:
With the .6" increase between the wheel wells, .2" increase on the 8' bed, and if I get rid of the drop in liner and go with a spray on and gain all around, even with the 1" lower rail height, I will probably increase box volume.
