... back so soon? Notice anything? Thought so.
Fact is, F150 hoods have been aluminum since 1997. Weight savings measure, y'know.
I looked, but I can't seem to find any reports of a run on F150 hoods. Tailgates, oh, yeah - a TON of those ( and they be STEEL ).
But not hoods. You'd think that after 2 + gens of Fiddy's the Scumbags woulda figgered this out. Stoopid Scumbags, eh?
I wouldn't worry so much. Personally, I think they gonna be stolen 'cause they be Sooo purdy ....
Now - Copper - them bastiges are stealing it by the Mile from our city wiring infrastructure
BTW - noticed you've been REAL frisky in the last hour or so, a-crappin' here and a-pokin' there - what woke yall up from hibernation?
Good job! This place wuz gittin' kinda pokey!

No sherlock, your not telling me anything I dont alread know, love the pompous attitude. Stealing a hood here or there is nothing, getting all the body panels and bed would make the effort worth while.

Thieves are thieves because they are lazy and stealing is easier than working. Taking body panels off a truck is way too close to doing real work for most thieves.

I am in the commodities business... Just had to add to this.
Speaking of aluminum theft.... A few years back I had an entire truckload of 1100 series Aluminum Finning material stolen....

True. But if a crook is looking to steal a tailgate, is he going to go for one that's locked, or the one that's already unlocked and much quicker and easier to get to? It's not about stopping them, it's about making it more difficult and time consuming.
