That heavily camouflaged 97-03 looking 2015 test truck from last summer is back again.

My theory, about the whole 5 lug thing, is that Ford is using a 97-04 chassis for the weight of the truck. The 97-04s were fairly light compared to the 04-13 models. They predict 700lbs off the current trucks which would put the weight back down the previous body styles. I think what they are really testing are MPG numbers for the new smaller ecoboost engine(s).

 

Question, in what way does this look like a 97-03? Bumpers, Grille, Mirrors, Shape, Lights, Running Boards, Lines on rear window. This is all new body F150.... Even the distance between the Shocks and Pumpkin are NBS...

 

I know this is not the final stage of what the new truck will look like but it's time for LED taillights, I know everyone is going to through in there 2 cents of what they want it to have but the Taurus, Explorer, Mustang and Titanium Fusion have them.

 

Not impressed...looks like a modded Ford to look like a nissan or tundra

BTW, this vehicle here is not meant to look impressive, it's a camoed mule of mixed up parts.
