I'm pretty sure that with the name Atlas, this is way more concept than reality--especially remembering that the cosmetics of the heavily-hyped Super Chief concept never saw regular production. Looks to me like the grille and tailgate treatments are "red herrings." I do like the LED head and tail lights, the turn signals in the fronts of the side mirrors, the big flares over the wheel openings, the cargo step/ladder support, and what I could see of the interior. And what's with that roof line? Hopefully they will tone it down and make it less "showy."

Wow
Awesome, bad a$$ truck.
Of course we have to look past the obvious concept features but the foundation is clear and Ford just gave GM (and Ram) an uppercut to the jaw.
What's frightening is what the cost of a fully loaded Platinum or Limited-level vehicle will be with the features newly introduced.
I do think they could make the cab's roof more practical for utilizing the rear support integrated in the tailgate - maybe a track to accept a roof rack.
Whether power shutter wheels are a reality and provide an ROI, who knows, they're still pretty innovative.
Can't wait until Job 1 dates are released...

The roof dip is part of that bed management system to help stow long ladders, kayaks, etc. I would imagine that wouldnt be standard feature. But that is just my guess.

This thing is off the hook! Everything about this new rig is amazing. The roof and tailgate step would have come in handy this fall carrying my canoe for duck hunting and would replace my backrack. 10 speed auto, 700lbs lighter, more efficient motors, aero tricks, this thing will be the s$it. Less than 2 yrs until production me thinks this will resemble the next f150 very closely. Glad they keep a real crew cab like the current model. Hilarious how they sorta crashed the other parties at the big show in Detroit
