2015 XL-AirBag Light On?

Hello fellas, you all have gotten me valuable information before and here I'am once again hoping someone can point me in the right direction please.

Bought my father a truck from Copart... XL SuperCab. Great buy as the damage was that the bed got lifted off chasis and needed a new bumper. It's in the shop right now getting fixed but we notice that the airbag light is on even though no air bags deployed? Is there an airbag sensor on the bed near the back bumper or what do you all think could be the cause for the light to stay on?

Here is a link to a pic of the truck: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7...nVFQjhEdXZpMlE

Scan the OBD2 for airbag codes.

Probably as basic as resetting something. Maybe some sort of inertia sensor went off.

Detais on the truck? I'd like something like that since my F250 isn't that comfortable on long trips out of town for work.

Thanks fellas, we will have to get a computer to check the code out and see if it can be reset... as far as details on the truck its a 2015 with 43k miles on and with tax title license, repair, parts it came out to $11,500... good buy?

Decent buy. Would be difficult to flip for a profit since people are leery of salvage titles.

Probably mid-high 20's new. Drive the wheels off it.

Yes its for my dad to use and replace his 1996 XL that has lasted but he needed a new one. Glad we found a great buy!
