I have a brand new 2015 and am having the same sunroof rattling issues. Mine did it from about the 500 mile mark. Now about 1700 miles and does it all the time. Have not been to my dealer yet, but will be soon.

 

I have a 2015 platinum and it has the full sun roof which rattle and bangs going down the .my dealer has tried everything to fix it with no luck .It still rattle and bangs . There is no interest on ford part to fix this problem. I am sure glad I bought a FORD. Along with the set belt rattle who can here the radio

 

I also had this problem. I had it at the dealer about a month ago, and they were able to get it fixed. It was right above the passenger side door. However, now it seems that the "rattle" or what ever you want to call it has move towards the back. It isn't as bad as before but it seems like it is slightly getting worse. If it continues I will bring it back to my dealer.

 

I have a 2015 F-150 Platinum and the sunroof rattle is driving me crazy. It has been into the dealership 3 times with no luck. Ford, please step up and resolve this issue.

 

Just purchased a 2016 with Pana Sunroof and wonder if Ford figured this out?

This issue has not been figured out and has not been worked on in over 6 weeks.
Very disappointed in the roof.

 

I had the dealer do the "fix" on mine. It lasted a month or so and came back. I located the area of my problem in this thread https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...e-located.html

I don't really have a problem that often anymore. If it starts up I just open the roof and adjust.

 

Ford has finally released a TSB and mine was in the shop yesterday. We shall see if it is going to work. The bulletin seems to pinpoint the issue however the fix seems suspect.

 

My 2015 Supercrew Lariat bought last June has the same rattle/clunking noise from the panoramic sunroof. Noise started pretty much the first week I bought it. I haven't asked the Ford dealer here about it yet as I was watching the forums and seeing no luck in the repairs until the last post about Ford FINALLY recognizing it as an issue by issuing a TSB. I will have it into the Ford dealer the end of April for repairs.

 

hello, i also have this problem, i didnt know what the rattling noise was at first but i decided to push up on my moonroof while i was driving and the noise stopped, its very annoying hearing this when driving. i can also have watering dripping in numerous spots when raing outside or going through car wash, cant be normal??? i can see sunlight out in 2 spots.

 

I've never had any water issues, however the from pane of glass needed to be raised by adjustment. The TSB for the roof was used last week and the roof is still quiet.

thanks skinner, im gonna make a appt. at dealer, if i drive through one of those pressure wash car washes you can see water coming in roof at numerous locations, i took it to dealer once he said that was normal and there is channels in there for water to drain out, dont seem right tho

 

My 2015 F150 sunroof is driving me nuts been in shop twice they say its normal , it is getting worse and help would be appreciated

 

hi speicherf150, your problem with moonroof seems to be alot of others also, mine in the shop as we speak there is TSB 16-0020 for the moonroof to help fix it, make a appt. with your dealer.
