My 2015 driver door does not sit flush and rattles, anyone else have any issues with doors not sitting flush? No matter how hard you slam it, just won't sit flush. I have 3000km on my truck, now that it is getting colder our here you can hear the noise more. I did not have my first service yet but I'm doubtful my dealer can do anything. When driving if I stick two fingers between the door and rubber it stops.

 

Doors CAN be adjusted to improve or align the fit. Take it to the dealership and have them do it.

Adjust the striker, very easy

 

Let the dealer do it, that's what a warranty is for.

Sounds like the latch needs to be adjusted inward, take it to your dealer.

 

I absolutely suggest having your local dealership take a look a this, johnnymac; they'll be able to assess the situation and suggest the best next steps.

Has anyone had any success getting the door alignment issue fixed? I have 2017 XLT Super Crew and I noticed that my driver door is not flush, the lower corner is protruding. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

The rattle is most likely your window roll it half down and see if it is loose mine rattles like crazy
