First New Truck

Hey everyone! This is Raelyn Blue. She's an XL SCAB with the 2.7 Ecoboost, 101A package, Sport Appearance Package, Tow Package, 3.55 locking axle, and Reverse Sensing System. This is not my first F150, previously had a 2004 SCAB and was on the forum all the time when I had it, but this is my first brand new vehicle.
I bought it Saturday and just got to pick it up last night. I'm in love. My 2004 was great, but this one is amazing. The differences in the ride quality and the interior quality is far beyond what I thought it would be. Not to mention the surprise and shock I had of the engine over my old 5.4. I still haven't gotten to play with it too much yet, but once the miles start adding up I'll do some more vigorous testing. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and look forward to spending a lot of time back on the forum!

Nice truck. That blue is growing on me. Is there much room for a passenger in the back?

There's room as long as they aren't much over 6' tall, unless it's a short driver and passenger. I'm 6' and my wife is 5'9" and I can fit behind both front seats, but it's a tight fit.

Blue Flame is what I wanted too, but I had to take what I could because there just are so few SCREW's out there with 6.5' bed...

Sadly I've already had to make an appointment to take it back to the dealer . It has a pretty bad vibration problem between 60-70 MPH. I'm guessing it's either a bad tire, or out of balance tire. I hope that's all the problem is. Dealer couldn't get me in until next Wednesday so I guess I'll find out what the problem is then.

I know they'll take great care of you at the dealership, ccoll5. I'll alert your regional customer service manager (CSM); they work with dealers to ensure customer concerns are resolved. To make that happen, PM me your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.

Dropped the truck off this morning so my fingers are crossed for a quick and simple fix.
On another note, they gave me a 2014 F150 STX SCREW 4x4 with the 5.0 as a loaner. After driving it this morning I remembered how great the V8 sound is. I also never realized how heavy the non-aluminum model felt. Mine feels so much lighter and the 2.7 ecoboost feels so much quicker than the 5.0 to me. So, except for the sound, I'm very satisfied with my choice to go with the 2.7 so far.

Finally got the truck back last night. They had it for 3 days to tell me the tires had flat spots from sitting on the lot for so long and I needed to put at least 2,500 miles on it and see if it still vibrates. Not sure how I feel about that. Flat spots wouldn't cause vibration at certain speeds, and they don't take that long to go away. I'm going to give it a shot though and see if it goes away on it's own. If not I'll be taking it back.
