Question Auto Start-Stop

Anyone else leave the Auto Start-Stop on and notice after fill up that the system does not activate at a stop?
This is a 2018 with 5.0L

A long read, but this tells you what must happen before it will activate:

Note that you can disable it by putting a dummy plug in the trailer light socket. That way, if you do not like it, you don't have to hit the button every time you start the engine.

I believe it can also be disabled using FORScan, if you want to go that route.

Thank you, did not answer question but I did not know that it requires seat belt to be latched. I will pay more attention to that Thanks again

The TSGB did not answer my question. So I called Ford and got my answer. The system needs to keep running after a fill up so the computer sensors can determine the fuel used to fill tank. ie: E-85 or regular. Understandable. I was told the page of the owners manual this information is on. Still have not opened the book. Thanks all

Mine works without using the seat belt.
