Hey, I know this is probably a stupid question, which I could answer for myself with enough surfing.....

But is this exact truck guaranteed to be out in 2015 ? Or is it just a concept truck, with a posibility for a 2015 release ?

I know I saw it labled as such in at least one article.... but I'm hoping that was just an old article....

It's a concept. Don't be surprised if you see some of the features and looks in the new F-150 and Super Duty's though.

I think it's a great looking truck. The lights in the bed are brilliant. Would love to see it in production in the future.

....im impressed, may have to run my 07 a lil longer. Given how close we are to 2015 MY release....this would have to be very close to the actual truck as far as all the major design cues etc....it would be too late now to drastcially revise things when you consider what is involved in the engineering & preplanning of assembly lines etc. it wouldn't make sense to give a 'concept' such heavy promotion if it didn't pretty much accurately sum up the direction of the next chassis revision imho. I won't be speccing the shuttered wheeels though if i can help it.

Probably the grille shutters, front air dam, and the wheel shutters.

I was not a big fan of the '97-2003 body style, it never grew on me either, even though I owned one. I loved the 2004-2008 body style, in fact I still drive a 2005. I am not a huge fan of the front end of the current 2009-2013 body style. I like the rear and interior, but dont like the grille. I also dont like the 2008-current super duty.

But this thing looks pretty slick. I think I will try to hold off until 2015 to replace my 2005. Hopefully it will make it.

I hear yah...

I said earlier that I was going to wait on this 2015, but I just drove a 13' Plat 5.0 and if the dealer's first offer was one I couldn't refuse, I would have pulled the trigger.

But looking at the pics that Chris just posted, I really have to try and wait, even though I'm itching to replace my 2005 Lariat.

I'm at 94,600 and I've been putting off some suspension and minor mechanical fixes that need attention. If I can't find the very best deal on a Platinum this year, I will wait on the 2015 F150.

I like! One Might Be in My Future Provided that V8 Power is a Option (Hopefuly the 6.2) If Ecoboost is the only option then it would be No Deal for Me.

Same Here just heard that Ford is adding 400 jobs to make a total of 700 jobs at there cleveland engine plant to build the 3.5 v6 ecoboost engine. Greatful for the jobs you can have the engine ... hope they put a diesel engine as an option. I love Ford trucks but if ecoboost is only engine its a deal breaker!!!

I hope but highly doubt the 2015's will look exactly like that concept truck. Typically in all actuality the real thing never looks like the concept. That 2015 concept truck would probably cost $100,000 if they made it as is.
