2013 f150 ecoboost drivetrain unloads at a stop

I am having an issue that is kind of puzzling me, when i pull up to a stop light and stop it feels like the drivetrain unloads and then bumps like i was rearended lightly, also almost everytime i go into reverse i hear clicking and snapping sounds in the rear drivetrain, most auto vehicles once in gear its in gear but when i come to a stop it feels like it might even drop out of gear?? then when i take my foot off the gas it takes a second or 2 for the drivetrain to load up again, if i hit the gas as soon as i take my foot off the brake the truck will be into boost before the drivetrain loads and spins out or hops like a donkey, and ideas anyone?

Sounds like the driveshaft splines need greasing.

I recommend that you take it to your local Ford store and have them grease it.

Thanks for the help, I made an appointment to have the driveshaft splines greased and after reading more and watching videos i am surprised how something so simple can cause such an issue

Yes, it's a common issue.

Why I recommend just having Ford do it, they have special grease that seems to work really good.

Yeah, it might cost a little more, but you won't need to worry about that noise.
