Exclamation A/C running when it's on ventilation mode

Hi Folks! I have a problem here maybe 2 I don't know if related.

When I press the Vent button, the A/C runs the compressor besides the A/C isn't turned on. Neither, the A/C yellow LED is on. Any idea why the compressor is running?

I also notice on hot days when I start the AC the air blew it's really hot like if the heater was on but, in about maybe 20 seconds the air starts to blow warm and then it blows cold air. It's like 3 stage First Hot air, 2nd Warm air (as supposed to be) 3rd. Cold air. I think something is wrong because when new, I only feel first warm air and then cold air.

Any idea what's happening?

If someone may share a schematic from the AC System I'll appreciate.

Thanks for your help!

Is yours a manual system or automatic temperature control? Single or dual zone?

I had a problem like this on a '79 F150 and it turned out that the bearing in the AC clutch was starting to seize and the clutch never disengaged. All of the electronics were fine. Sometimes it's the simple things that fail.

The hot air is what is in the vents, say your truck is 100 degrees inside it is going to blow out 100 degree air and it will take it a minute or 2 to cool off.
Also what do you mean by vent button, outside air or the actual vent on the rotary ****. Reason I asked was that if the Rotary **** is on anything to do with defrost the AC compressor will cycle.
