I drive a 2013 FX4, I'm having issues with my key fob. Every thing works on the key fob and inside the truck, excluding the unlock button on the fob itself. I ha e a secondary key fob and they both stopped unlocking the truck at the same time. Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

 

Could be a bad solder joint on both.

I could understand that if they went bad days apart, but for both to not work at exactly the same time on the same day. I'll take the fobs apart and see of something looks out of sorts.

 

Try changing the Batteries, they both have 5-6 year old batteries in them. The unlock button gets used the most and is normally the one that shows up not working first when they go dead.

My '07's all still work on oem batteries. In fact, my '01 Merc's still work and I don't recall ever replacing batteries. My old '95 T-bird's work, but I did replace batteries in them about 5 years ago.

On a side note,our '08 GT's and '07's TPMs all still work?

 

My bad. Sir. I thought u needed ur key programmed/replaced.
On the FOB issue,...
. Most any auto parts store should sell them. I had to purchase a pre-programmed fob for my 07 F150. It worked right out of the package. Best part, they're cheap.
