6 Inch suspension lift with 17” rims?

So I’m getting all my stuff together to lift my truck (2011 XLT 4x4 ecoboost) and I plan on doing a 6 inch suspension lift through “zone off-road”. I purchased 17x10 rims with a -24 offset and 35x12.50 tires. I’m just wondering if I’ll be able to use these rims and tires. I’ve been reading around and some say you can and some say you can’t. So any information would be great. I’m just not understanding why you have to have certain size rims with these lifts. Thank you for any information!

It would be close. You might need to use spacers.

My take on spacers and a truck? Nope ain't gonna happen on any of my rides. I just don't like them because the laws of physics...

If I recall correctly the max width would be 11.5"...

Zone says their kit won't work with 17" wheels, probably won't clear the brake or steering components. I'd research other lifts and see what works with a 17" rim.

Your lift kit's manufacturer should have a size that they recommend. For my model year, Fabtech's 6" lift specified the wheel size and backspacing. Call the lift kit manufacturer for tech support.
