2011 F150 3.5, died at stop sign, won't start, no fuel

Hi all,
Truck died on me while stopped at a stop sign a few weeks ago, no warning, no running issues at all up until it quit.

After cranking quite a bit, I have a code for low fuel rail pressure, and low fuel pressure while cranking (P0087 and P00C6).

I have since replaced with genuine ford parts:
high pressure fuel pump (on motor)--did this before i discovered no fuel coming from tank pump, then i replaced the fuel pump driver control module (above spare tire, didn't fix it), and finally the in-tank fuel pump. I have no fuel coming from the new pump, just like the old pump.

I checked #27 fuel pump fuse and it is not burned or broken, nor is there any sign of melting in the underhood fusebox. I also swapped the relay with another similar relay from the box.

What is causing no power to my fuel pump?! Help me avoid the dealer, it would be my first time going there, but I'm out of ideas here.

Have you checked the inertia switch?

These newer trucks don't have inertia switches, fuel shut off is controlled by the PCM in case of collision, and the reset procedure is just cycling the ignition a few times.

Time to break out the voltmeter and wiring diagrams.

I have 12v leaving the power distro box on the violet/green wire, but I have 0v at the violet/green wire at the back of the truck going into fuel pump control module. I ran a wire direct back from the positive terminal to the fuel pump power wire in the module harness and jumped the ground from that harness also, and the pump ran.

So somewhere in the circled section below
my power wire is compromised, has anyone experienced this? Are there any connections easily accessible to check the wire between the box and the module?

For anyone searching, I traced starting at the fusebox and found the violet/green fuel pump power wire to be corroded and severed about 6" from the connector for the fuel pump driver module. After patching the wire, the truck started and runs great.

I'm immediately getting 4mpg better, and a slight stutter I had been getting when lugging it uphill, has disappeared. I had previously thought it was some over fueling from the 91 banks tune, and the mpg drop was from moving and doing much more city driving. Overall the truck runs smoother, and seems to have more power.

This needs to be a sticky at the top. Great trouble shooting!
