I'm back everyone

Just logged on for the first time in 8 years. As I have been gone and crossed over to the gm side. I now have went back to ford and have purchased a 2013 fx4 screw lb WITH a 6.2. Yes it has been a while and feels good to be back. I'm interested in an exhaust, and wondering who else can help me with some easy mods. And my current career path is managing a fleet of newer ford trucks. Hope to hear from ya guys.

💡 A Raptor's OEM take-off exhaust system is a direct plug-and-play for your 6.2L and is a great choice. *nice purr, no drone.

off road dude - Raptors have short beds no?
Yes.

Or does it not matter, the coulping joint is in the same spot?
No (does not matter), yes (same couplling joint spot).

Are there any hp gains?
As with ANY exhaust change (excluding headers + tune), there are no (to minimal) HP gains. Ergo, the change is cosmetic - sound and/or appearance.

The OEM, factory exhaust is already efficient and free-flowing - both the resonator (if present[) and muffler are straight-thru.

The Raptor's exhaust is notably louder, however, not LOUD.

Take-offs are getting harder to find, but they're out there. Me - Kept watching / searching and found one local for $$$ ($50).

I've always had FloFlasters but I got a good deal on a Borla cat-back system this fall so I went with it. Wow. Couldn't be happier. I've read you should not expect much if any HP increase with any cat-back, and maybe it's in my head, but I feel like the Borla is giving me more HP too.

Boy, you came back hard! Top notch with the 6.2. When I ordered my '11 Lariat that was the first check mark. Yea, the 6.2 is nice as is. I went with a complete Stainless Works system with Long tube headers, high flow cats, X-pipe and duals with chambered mufflers. A bit loud but nicely loud!! It was nice with that, then I added a SCT Livewire with a few performance and Tow tunes. Wow! Rapture.............Good luck on your mods, Nice looking truck by the way!

Yeah thanks guys. I looked hard to find that exact truck. For now I'll probably just do a catback. I was looking at stage 3 motorsports. With the tb the cai catback and tuner. I've been seeing you really don't get any noticable gains out of the newer fords unless it's tuned. Headers would be nice, but I'll only be able to afford one thing at a time. It will be a slow project but one day.

What ever Exhaust you get do not do a Drone Master.... I mean Roush, mine had it on it when I bought it and you put a load on the engine and couldn't hear the radio. I have a Borla Touring on it now and it sounds pretty good.
