I recently purchased a 2010 FX4 SuperCrew and I have searched online for a few weeks to find out how to reset the horn chirp when using the key fob to lock the vehicle. There are all kinds of questions about turning off the chirp, but I'm a little hard of hearing so I hope someone here can help me. I absolutely love the truck, it only had 59,000 miles on it and is in excellent condition. One other question that has nothing to do with the horn. Why didn't they put a center dome light in the cab? I've thought about stick on lights but would probably look like crap (?). Thanks for any help.

 

Have you tried mashing the lock button twice? Once locks the truck, twice locks and beeps.

 

I've tried that thanks. It could be my fob because the red button for alarm actually is the remote start. I can't find any info on the fob, for instance it has a small antenna on the top left corner. And an image search hasn't found it. Now the truck did come from Canada if that matters in any way.
